The Mt. Pleasant Figure Skating Club hosted it’s annual awards night in June. Skaters and their families gathered at the Maple Room at the Shepherd Bar & Grill to celebrate another great skating season.
MPFSC skaters have worked hard this season to pass over 20 USFS tests:
- Elson Willsey: Novice MIF, Intermediate FS, American Waltz, Rocker Foxtrot & European Waltz
- Jawaher Dabas: Blues, Kilian & Paso Doble
- Jenna Harnick: Novice MIF & Juvenile FS
- Lucy Holt: Preliminary MIF
- Madison Morey: Intermediate FS & Killian
- Autumn Willsey: Intermediate FS, American Waltz & Rocker Foxtrot
- Kayla Morgan: Pre Juvenile Freeskate
- Laura Goenner: Pre Preliminary Moves in the Field, Pre Preliminary FS
- Nicole Goenner: Pre Preliminary MIF
- Maycen Morey: Preliminary Free Skate, Pre Juvenile MIF
- Emma Welch: Junior MIF
Additional Awards were presented to the following skaters:
- Madison Morey: Varsity Letter, Middle of the Mitt High School Figure Skating Team
- Sportsmanship Award: Andrea Kemler
- You Made a Difference: Jenna Harnick
- Hardest Worker: Elliana Gursky
- Most Improved: Sara Nitschke
