A NEW Theatrical Skating Experience for our Learn to Skate & Junior Club Skaters!

Develop dramatic and artistic skating skills
Be part of a team and make new friends
Learn a theatrical ensemble program to be performed at exhibitions and/or competition.
HAVE FUN AND ENJOY SKATING!

Requirements:

Skaters must be currently in Basic 4 – Pre Free Skate, or have coaches approval.
Skaters should be concurrently enrolled in Learn to Skate group lessons or private lessons.
Commit to performing in each of the scheduled exhibitions and/or competitions taking place during their enrollment session.

Practice Day/Time:

Thursdays; 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm
- includes 30 minutes on ice instruction and 15 minutes of off ice work.
Dedicated exhibition/competition practice may be scheduled as necessary. All practice dates will be listed at sign up.
3 sessions scheduled per year; Fall, Winter & Spring

Session Fees:

Session fees can be paid in one lump sum or in two installments. All session fees will include ice time, on and off ice instruction, costumes and/or accessories. The winter session will also include entry fees for the Mountain Town Classic Competition.
Fundraising opportunities may be available during the season to help defer costs.

2023 – 24 Session Schedule:

Fall Session (10 weeks)
- Practices: September 28 – December 7, 2023; Thursdays @ 5 pm
  - Sept. 28; Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26; Nov. 2, 9, 16, 30; Dec. 7
  - No class on Nov. 23rd
  - Exhibition Practice: Sunday, December 10th @ 3:00 pm
- Performance: MPFSC Holiday Exhibition; Sunday, December 10th @ 4:30 pm
- Signup Opens: August 28, 2023
- Signup Deadline: September 21, 2023
- Fall Session Cost: $196.00
  - May be paid in one sum or broken down into 2 payments of $98.00.

Winter Season (11 weeks)
- Practices: January 4 – March 14, 2024; Thursdays @ 5 pm
  - Jan. 4, 11, 18, 25; Feb. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; March 7, 14
- Performance: MPFSC Annual Ice Show; Saturday, February 17th – Time TBD
- Competition: Mountain Town Classic; Saturday, March 9th
- Signup Opens: November 20, 2023
- Signup Deadline: December 14, 2023
- Winter Season Cost: $300.00
  - May be paid in one sum or broken down into 2 payments of $150.00
  - Costs include: ice time, coaching, team jacket, costume and competition fees
