The Mt. Pleasant Figure Skating Club (MPFSC) was founded in 1997 to encourage and develop the sport of figure skating in the local community. We offer group lessons and individual coaching in all aspects of skating – basic skills, free skating, moves in the field, pairs, and dance. We teach all levels, from beginning to advanced and all ages from 4 to 94. The club is also home to the Middle of the Mitt High School Figure Skating Team and the Journey into Imagination Theater Team.
MPFSC presents an annual ice show in February and hosts the Mountain Town Classic Basic Skills Competition in the March.
The Mt Pleasant Figure Skating Club is a non-profit corporation and holds membership in the United States Figure Skating Association (U.S.F.S.A.) and calls the The Martin Ice Arena in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan its home.
